Stratamed is a self-drying, full-contact, flexible wound dressing that creates optimal conditions for faster wound healing and symptomatic relief (redness/discoloration, itching, pain, discomfort). Stratamed can be used immediately after procedures and allows you to start preventing abnormal scarring earlier than ever before. When used as directed, Stratamed dries to form a gas-permeable and water-resistant protective layer that hydrates and protects broken skin and open wounds from chemical and microbial penetration. It has been developed for use in all types of superficial wounds, burns, skin tears and abrasions.
Stratamed can also be used in conjunction with invasive scar treatments to improve overall outcomes, including surgical excision and re-suturing, intralesional steroid injections, laser treatment, and compression garments.
